Overview of the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to focus on boosting sales for Volvo Trucks in the UAE. This is a key role in driving Volvo’s market expansion and establishing long-term relationships with key players across the automotive and heavy commercial vehicle sectors. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Product Manager to achieve monthly sales targets, create compelling proposals, and ensure the seamless coordination between stakeholders to enhance Volvo Trucks’ presence in the UAE market.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Take full responsibility for meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets for Volvo Trucks in the UAE.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Product Manager to set specific objectives and sales goals by model.
  • Develop and implement a robust sales forecasting strategy to ensure accurate weekly sales forecasts and performance tracking.
  • Monitor and analyze sales progression throughout the month, taking necessary actions to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential customers.
  • Drive the brand awareness and market penetration of Volvo Trucks in the UAE.

 

Required Skills to Be Successful:

  • Strong Project Management skills, capable of managing multiple sales initiatives at once.
  • Excellent Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build long-lasting business connections.
  • Proven Negotiation Skills, with the ability to close deals successfully and meet sales targets.
  • Strong Financial Awareness and business acumen, with the ability to understand and act on profit margins, sales projections, and market trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent Analytical, Numerical, and Presentation Skills to support decision-making and reporting.

 

About the Team:
You will be joining a dynamic and driven team at Volvo Trucks that is dedicated to expanding our market share in the UAE. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Sales, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to drive success. The team values initiative, accountability, and a customer-centric approach to sales.

 

What Equips You for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on Heavy Commercial Vehicles, trucks, or Superstructure and Equipment Manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of sales success in the UAE market (preferably with experience in fleet and government sectors).
