Key Responsibilities:
- System Installation: Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including central, split, and window units.
- Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot issues in AC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and servicing to ensure optimal performance of cooling systems.
- Refrigerant Handling: Handle and replace refrigerants as required, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Repair Work: Fix or replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Ductwork Maintenance: Clean and repair duct systems to improve air quality and system efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and replacements.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Education: Diploma or certification in HVAC systems or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing AC systems.
