Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Conduct regular financial audits to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of annual reports and liaise with external auditors.
- Stay updated on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, UAE tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.
