AC Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• System Installation: Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including central, split, and window units.
• Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot issues in AC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and servicing to ensure optimal performance of cooling systems.
• Refrigerant Handling: Handle and replace refrigerants as required, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
• Repair Work: Fix or replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Ductwork Maintenance: Clean and repair duct systems to improve air quality and system efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and replacements.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Education: Diploma or certification in HVAC systems or a related field.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing AC systems.
  • Familiarity with tools and techniques for HVAC maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and endurance.
• Licenses: Valid certification for handling refrigerants is preferred.
