Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Dubai office. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a growing organization while advancing your career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Conduct regular financial audits to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of annual reports and liaise with external auditors.
• Stay updated on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, UAE tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.
