ROLE SUMMARY
The Communications Manager is responsible for all communications deliverables for regional integrated campaigns linked to commercial activity, strategic reputational engagement objectives, and service/product offerings that are applied across the Carrefour countries Majid Al Futtaim operates. Develop a brand communications strategy that delivers a monthly stream of impactful campaigns to support commercial goals, enhance reputation, and promote new services.
ROLE PROFILE
- Working with key internal stakeholders to understand business and operational needs associated with Carrefour commercial campaigns, reputational commitments and service/product launches.
- Accordingly develop – often in close coordination with social media team and brand colleagues – the communications strategy, content and plans for top-down integrated marcom campaigns. These campaigns will support the overarching Carrefour comms strateg
- Develop the consumer communications strategies, toolkits, action plans, deliverables, templates, master content and KPI’s for all such campaigns.
- Ensure communications engagements fits within wider 360 marcom campaigns to build a regional brand and reputation for Carrefour across all markets
- Working with Corporate Sustainability and in-market communications and sustainability teams to develop a sustainability communications strategy and plan, managing its execution across all markets
- Work closely within the communications team at Corporate to support local market communications managers in crafting their local strategies, action plans and setting their KPI’s.
- Develop messaging, positioning statements and content for regional service offerings and socio-economic contributions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations of Marketing.
- 7+ years of relevant, demonstrated experience in a similar role and relevant experience working with retail, consumer goods industry and multinational companies.
- Communications agency or news media journalism experience.
- Ability to develop and execute engaging and creative consumer communications plans aligned with business and brand needs and goals.
- Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English (Required).
